With my new iPad and Blogsy I’ve been able to create a blog post faster than ever before. The auto correcting screen and quick entry interface make it easy to put a post up to WordPress. What hasn’t been so easy is to add photos from the iPad. While Blogsy allows you to download and attach photos from Picassa and Google images, the internal download hasn’t been enabled yet. Blogsy says they will be implementing this feature on their next upgrade.
Once this is completed I’ll be able to write, shoot a photo, and post in record time. With my old setup, I would have to get out the camera, shoot the picture, download in to my computer and edit it down in size with Photoshop. With the Photopad app for the iPad, I can take a picture with one of the cameras on the tablet and then edit it to the proper size along with optimizing it’s quality. Then it will be a quick import to get it into Blogsy and be on my way.
Photo pad is really cool and the interface is fast and easy. You can resize and optimize a photo in just minutes and the app is free from the app store.
Overall I’m looking forward to the day that I can truly create a post, add a photo, and post in under fifteen minutes. This text post took just 10 minutes, so this is a start.
Question: What blogging software do you use?
