Welcome To Fire Up Today
Hello, my name is John, and I’m a Personal Development Writer.
Welcome to my blog. This page is intended to give you a crash course on what we do around here and answer any common questions.
I love productivity, entrepreneurship, and studying what it takes to become a great leader. I’ve been a student of personal development for over 10 years; reading, writing and experimenting with different strategies for success.
I started this blog in 2005 with some important questions:
- What is the definition of success?
- What does it really take to get organized?
- How do you overcome procrastination?
- How do you set goals that stick?
What I found as I started this search was a community of success-minded individuals sharing many of the same struggles.
This is where we discuss what works and what doesn’t. I’ve read over 200 books on personal development and spent years researching productivity, organization, and goal setting. Some of the things I’ve discovered worked really well, others failed spectacularly. Some of the most common beliefs are just dead wrong. Don’t let ingrained habits and the negative attitudes of others keep you from finding success.
If you have a passion for self improvement and impacting the world, this blog is for you.
I usually publish two to three times per week and seek to find solutions that really work. My goal is to offer easy to implement tools that cost little or nothing, yet add tremendous productivity to your daily life.
