I had the pleasure of attending the Toastmasters District 12 Spring Conference on Saturday. The theme of the conference was “Fire Up Today”. I think the goals of the conference were met. The conference was held on the southwestern border of the district in Murrieta, California and the organizers were afraid that people would not drive that far to attend. To their surprise the conference had a great turnout.
I came away motivated to reach higher and to give back to those who made the conference a success.
